These are purpose-built. They pack serious heat into a small space, so you get fast, focused warmth exactly where the preform needs it.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;h2 id=&#34;what-actually-happens-on-the-shop-floor&#34;&gt;What actually happens on the shop floor&lt;/h2&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;PET preforms need heat fast—controlled, even, and quick. The goal is to stretch them without scorching.&#xA;So we run these lamps at 2500W and 400V. That’s a lot of power through a relatively small tube—about 300mm long. The payoff? A tight, predictable hot zone that lines up perfectly with the heating station.&#xA;It’s high energy, no question. You get instant response and high watt density.&#xA;But here’s the reality: your machine’s cooling and ventilation have to be ready for the waste heat. If the area around the lamp gets too warm, the lamp runs hotter, and the reflector loses efficiency. Plan for airflow, and keep the lamp socket thermally isolated.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
