The Materials That Make It Tick
Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz envelope. Quartz is great because it responds instantly and shrugs off thermal shock. It lets shortwave infrared energy through with almost no fuss, and the halogen cycle keeps the filament stable, which helps the lamp last. Then there’s the R7s bi-pin connector. It gives you a solid, low-resistance electrical link—handles the high current and makes the lamp a simple drop-in when it’s time for maintenance. No drama, just a clean swap.
How It Performs on the Line
On carbon blowing lines, this lamp heats the parison evenly, so bottle wall thickness stays consistent. That focused heat profile helps shorten the cycle time.
