The high voltage is a smart move, though—it keeps the current lower over longer runs, which means less voltage drop. And because it runs that hot, you need a cooling plan. The magic is in the build. At the heart is a carbon fiber filament, tucked inside a quartz envelope. The filament heats up in a blink, giving you that rapid response and steady infrared output. The quartz tube? It’s the tough part. It handles the shock of extreme heat and stays solid when things get intense. We also tune the spectral output with a special coating on the tube. That way, the infrared energy is absorbed the way your material needs it to be. And the connections—we use R7s or Sk15 fittings. They’re chosen because they hold tight, even when the temperature swings, so you don’t get surprise failures.
