Power, Voltage, and the Right Fit

The heart of it is the 25mm carbon fiber element. You’re typically running it on 400V or 230V, delivering 2500W of power. That kind of punch in such a small tube means one thing: speed. But that concentration of heat is a two-way street. You’ve got to make sure your cooling and shielding are up to the task—otherwise, nearby parts can take the heat, literally.

We wrap the carbon fiber filament in a quartz envelope. Why? Quartz handles sudden temperature swings without cracking. It just takes the abuse, day after day. A reflective coating on the outside directs the infrared energy forward. That means less wasted heat and more of it landing where you need it, which helps keep your process consistent. And the R7s bi-pin connector? It’s a simple, standardized mount. Wire it, lock it, and swap it out on the line without messing with custom leads. Downtime stays short.
